Betty L. Esser, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Seasons Hospice at the age of 88.
She was born in Manitowoc on Jan. 2, 1925, the daughter of Arthur and Lucille (nee Dugre) Brilliant. Betty had a lifelong love for sewing and also enjoyed cooking and baking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren that she loved dearly.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Charles (Tracy) Esser of Waukesha and Debra (Mike) Pitsch of Cambridge and her two grandchildren Alexandra and Jake Esser. She is further survived by her brother Arthur (the late Mary Doris) Brilliant of Illinois, her sisters: the late Carol (William) Andrew of Florida, Priscilla (Earl) Schroeder of DePere and Yvonne Brilliant of Milwaukee, along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. A private entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
