Obituary: Ann L. Reynders, 101

The Ohio native and West Allis Central graduate lived to age 101.

Ann L. Reynders, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at LindenGrove at the age of 101 years.  She was born in Lorain, Ohio on May 30, 1912 the daughter of Joseph and Suzann (nee Kolaric) Katona.  Ann was a graduate of West Allis Central High School and was employed by Allis Chalmers prior to her marriage.  She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for 65 years where she was involved in the St. Luke’s sewing circle.  Ann was also a member of the Golden Agers at the Schuetze Building and previously a volunteer at the Food Pantry.

She is survived by her daughter Christine of St. Louis, MO and her son Richard (Denise) of Genesee.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Henry, her sisters Ethel, Kay, Bertha and her brother Joseph.

A remembrance will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 3:00 until 4:30 PM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll Street, Waukesha, WI 53186. Private interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
