Obituary: Rita Anna Eisenach

Former Waukesha woman founded Town of Brookfield Park and Recreation Department and ran it as a volunteer for 25 years.

Rita Anna Eisenach, (nee Pepe) of Forsyth County, Georgia, formerly of Waukesha, WI, died on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at the age of 84.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1927, in Dunbar, Pennsylvania, grew up in Bronx, New York, and moved to Wisconsin in 1950.

Rita had a passion for giving to others which included starting the Town of Brookfield Park and Recreation Department and running it as a volunteer for over 25 years. Rita also led the development of Marx Park on Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield. She was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed sharing and teaching her artistic talents with her family. She even started her own miniature craft business at the age of 70. Rita will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother as family was her main passion.

Remembering her youthful spirit, she will be sadly missed by her children and their spouses; Patricia (Mark) Hill of Jacksonville, FL, Robert (Nancy) Eisenach, II, of Waukesha, Jo Ann (Dan) Kopshinsky of Waukesha, Carol (Mac) Edge of Suwanne, GA, John (Carol) Eisenach of Alpharetta, GA, Mariann (Mike) Simpson of Cumming, GA, Terri (Scott) Martin of Delafield, and Donna (Peter) Carpenter of Alpharetta, GA. Rita is the loving and devoted grandmother of: Mark (Anna) Hill, Elizabeth (Patrick) Pothen, Leandra (Caleb) Stewart, Lindsey Eisenach, Jennifer Kopshinsky, Dan Kopshinsky, Jr., Christopher Edge, Michael Edge, Christopher Eisenach, Amanda Eisenach, Samantha Eisenach, Melissa Eisenach, Megan Doyle, Kaitlyn Doyle, Jack Doyle, Erin Doyle, Dennis Simpson, Michael Martin, Claire Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Kelly Carpenter, Christie Carpenter and a great granddaughter, Charlotte Hill. Along with other loving relatives and friends.

 Rita is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert Eisenach and her son, James Edward Eisenach.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, from 4 p.m. until the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue Waukesha.  Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery.
