OBIT: John M. Lepkowski

Man, 60, served in the U.S. Air Force.

John M. Lepkowski, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Waukesha Springs, at the age of 60 years.

He was born Oct. 22, 1950, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of John T. and Elizabeth (Hemmick) Lepkowski. John proudly served in the U.S. Air Force.  He married the love of his life, Robin (Wallschlaeger) on May 24, 1975. John was a member of in Waukesha for many years. He retired after 34 years at Holsum/Ventura Foods of Waukesha.

John will be sadly missed by his wife, Robin, of 36 years; his children, Kimberly  Pryor of Germantown, Jay (Valerie) Lepkowski of Wauwatosa, Colleen (Ehren) Cultice of Waukesha; his granddaughter, Destiny. He is further survived  by brothers, Tom (Barb) Lepkowski of Stevens Point, Larry (Sandy) Lepkowski of South Dakota, Dan (Teresa) Lepkowski of Tomahawk, Andy (Julie) Lepkowski of South Dakota; sisters, Betty Snopek of Dousman and Juanita (Terry) Mengel of Potosi, WI; sister-in-law Kandi Snopek of Waukesha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including his four legged friend, Charlie. John is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Philip Lepkowski, James “Jay” Lepkowski; sisters, Ann Marie Lepkowski, Mary Lou Lepkowski and dear brother-in-law Greg Snopek.

The visitation for John will be held from 3 p.m. until time of the 6 p.m Funeral Service on Sunday, Sept. 11, at the , 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial at Highland Memorial Park, Monday, September 12 at 10 a.m., (14875 W. Greenfield Ave. New Berlin, WI, please meet inside the gate). Memorials appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern WI Chapter, 620 S. 76th St. Ste. 160 Milwaukee, WI 53214.
