OBIT: Jack Leroy Furrer,

Dousman man was born in Waukesha and was an avid deer hunter.

Jack Leroy Furrer, of Dousman, died on Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at the age of 76 years.

Jack was born on April 20, 1935, the son of John Albert and Dorothy Anna (nee Gaertson) Furrer in Waukesha. Jack was a camper, fisher and hunter to the extreme. He went on many fishing trips to Canada and enjoyed turkey hunting. Jack was an avid deer hunter as well. His favorite travels were to the Virgin Islands. Jack was known as a fix it man and was good at handyman work.

Jack will be sadly missed by his children, Vicky (the late Ken) Andler and Michael (Jeanne) Furrer; his grandchildren, Jennifer Borre, Joe, John and Mike Furrer; Great grandchildren, Avery Borre and Tyler Joseph Furrer, Mia-Bella Rose Alonzo-Furrer and Marcello Omar Alonzo-Furrer; sisters, Phyllis Rosenfleter and Candy Ernst; his best friend, Earl Parsons; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores A. Furrer and his sister, Patty Dowling.

A visitation for Jack will be from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Reverend Nancy Anderson will be officiating.
