OBIT: Everett M. “Tony” Biever

Memorial service taking place on Tuesday, Aug.9

Everett M. “Tony” Biever, of Waukesha, formerly of Dousman, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at The Virginia Health & Rehab Center at the age of 89.

He was born on March 22, 1922, in Fredonia, WI the son of Peter and Eleanor (nee Wellenstein) Biever.  He had worked at Wern Farms as a milkman and that is where he met Doris Jones who was working there as a bookkeeper. They were united in marriage on Aug. 23, 1947, in Genesee. He then was employed at Borden Dairy, retiring in 1987 after 40 years of service. He was a 25-year charter member of Hillview Presbyterian Church and a previous member of Ottawa Presbyterian Church.  Tony enjoyed playing sheepshead and attending family reunions at Random Lake.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Doris of Waukesha, along with their son Tom (Deborah) Biever of Waukesha; granddaughter Leah (Dennis) Hohisel of Waukesha; great-grandchildren Connor and Jackson Hohisel of Waukesha; sisters Delores Schneider of Adell, WI and Betty Jane (Frances) Wollner of Grafton; and brother Orville (Elizabeth) Biever of Saukville.  He is further survived by his sister-in-law Hazel (Norman) Johnson of Delafield, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his brothers Harvey and Florian.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. memorial service at Highview Presbyterian Church S50 W33042 Highway GE, Dousman, WI 53118. Interment will be at Salem Cemetery following the service.
