Jeanne E. Weber (Love)

Jeanne E. Weber (Love), age 93, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at the LindenGrove-Waukesha skilled nursing facility.

She was born June 1, 1920, in Waukesha to Addison and Thelma Love.  She graduated from Waukesha High School, and married Gerald Matthew Weber on March 4, 1944.  Dad preceded her in death on October 31, 1997, while they lived in North Powder, Oregon.  Mom returned to the Midwest, and spent the remainder of her life living in Illinois and Wisconsin.

Mom survives through her daughter Patricia L. de Rosset, her son Gregory M. Weber, and her daughter-in-law Marilyn J. Weber (Hadlick).  She also loved her son-in-law Robert (Bob) Wayt, and her brother Laurence (Larry) Love, both of whom preceded her in death.

Mom supported the Green Bay Packers, and remained angry with Brett Favre for a long time.  She got over it.  She worked various jobs throughout her life, but reading remained her passion.  We inherited that passion.  Time enough at last, Mom.

We thank our family, friends, and colleagues for their support and kind wishes during the last years of Mom’s life.  We extend special thanks and Mom’s love to Cheryl Posner of California, J.B. de Rosset of Florida, the Lamberts of Illinois, and Vera, Jenny, Juli, Lauren, Toni, and all the members of the Love and Richer families of New York State.

Staff members at LindenGrove--Waukesha and Seasons Hospice of West Allis provided Mom with excellent end-of-life care.

The Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home of Waukesha—the successor to the former Weber Funeral Home—has served our family with dignity and skill.  We thank them as well.

Mom insisted we not hold a public funeral or memorial service.  But she loved animals, especially her cat Squeak, who now lives with Greg and Marilyn.  If you wish, we invite you to remember Mom by making a donation in her name—or Squeak’s—to the Humane Animal Welfare Society, Post Office Box 834 Waukesha, WI  53188.  She’d like that.

Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral, Cremation and Preplanning Services is honored to serve the family.  For further information, please call the funeral home at 262-547-4035 or visit our website at www.waukeshafunerals.com to leave the family an online tribute message.
