Local students graduate from Carroll University

Local students graduate from Carroll University in May 2013.

The following students from your area completed the graduation requirements and received their diplomas on May 12, 2013, from Carroll University.

  • Courtney Craig, an exercise science major, is a 2007 graduate of Waukesha West High School and daughter of Brian and Mary Craig of Waukesha. She earned Cum Laude honors.
  • Ashley Joers, a communication major, is a 2009 graduate of Waukesha North High School and daughter of Scott and Cindie Joers of Waukesha.
  • Daniel Kratz, a psychology major, is a 2008 graduate of Waukesha South High School and son of Randy and Susan Kratz of Waukesha.
  • Peter Lange, a music education major, is a 1983 graduate of Marmion Military Academy and a resident of Waukesha. He earned Cum Laude honors.
  • Jody Lund, a psychology major, is a 1997 graduate of Arrowhead High School and a resident of Oconomowoc.
  • Eric Mach, a nursing major, is son of Bernie and Sandy Mach of Waukesha.
  • Lauren Radish, an elementary education major, is a 2008 graduate and daughter of Tom and Kathy Radish of Muskego.
  • Kate Rasmussen, an accounting major, is a 2009 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and daughter of Paul and Karen Rasmussen of Oconomowoc. She earned Magna Cum Laude honors.
  • Kevin Rasmussen, an accounting major, is a 2009 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and son of Paul and Karen Rasmussen of Oconomowoc. He earned Cum Laude honors.
  • Andrew Sowinski, a biology major, is a 2009 graduate of Waukesha West High School and son of Bryan and Jane Sowinski of Waukesha. He earned Magna Cum Laude honors.
  • Marie Welvang, an elementary education major, is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tewes of Henderson, NV. She earned Magna Cum Laude honors.

Carroll, Wisconsin's oldest four-year institution of higher learning, is an independent, co-educational comprehensive university grounded in the liberal arts tradition. Incorporated in 1846, it offers bachelor's degrees in 48 majors and master's degrees in business administration, education, exercise physiology, graphic communication, nursing, physician assistant studies and software engineering, as well as a clinical doctorate in physical therapy.
