How to make a positive impact and ensure profits

We have an obligation to leave the world in a better state than we found it. A number of entrepreneurs worldwide are now developing innovative solutions to social problems that have a positive impact for future generations, enrich people’s lives and ensure profits by incentivizing creative efforts.

Dr. Niranjan Pati, professor of management and entrepreneurship at Rowan University, will share his expertise with the Carroll University community on Monday, March 10, 2014. Networking and refreshments begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Stackner Ballroom of the Campus Center, 101 N. East Ave., Waukesha. His presentation, “Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability – Blend Them for a Better World,” will be at 6 p.m. Pati will share examples, challenges and opportunities for social entrepreneurism with a focus on sustainability. This event is free and open to the public.

Pati was the dean of the Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University in New Jersey from 2008-2012. He also was dean of the School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo from 2001-2008.
