Dancers embrace Spirit of Hope

Wisconsin’s elite collegiate cheer and dance teams present a non-competitive exhibition to support breast and prostate cancer research. Spirit of Hope will be hosted by the Carroll University Blaze on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 2 p.m. in Van Male Field House, 227 N. Barstow St., Waukesha. The east doors open at 1:40 p.m.

Admission is $5 adults, $3 students and free for children age 5 and younger. Proceeds benefit the Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse. Last year’s event raised $814.

Participating teams represent University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Alverno College, Carthage College, Concordia University Wisconsin, Ripon College, Carroll University and Femme Feroce, a professional dance team in Milwaukee.
