About 620 students will receive their diplomas in a ceremony beginning at 1 p.m. on the lawn in front of Main Hall. The graduates include about 540 expected to earn bachelor's degrees, 41 expected to earn master's degrees, including 19 who are Carroll's first graduates of Physician Assistant Studies, and 43 Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees.
The keynote speaker will be Mr. Dorval R. Carter Jr., a 1979 Carroll graduate, a member of Carroll’s Board of Trustees, and chief counsel of the Federal Transit Administration. The Class of 2013 speaker is Robert Marks, a philosophy, politics and economics major from Mundelein, Ill.
