Carroll graduate student wins Kohl fellowship

Peter Lange, a graduate education student at Carroll University, has been selected as a 2013 Kohl Fellowship recipient. He is a music teacher at Catholic Memorial High School.

Peter Lange, a graduate education student at Carroll University, has been selected as a 2013 Kohl Fellowship recipient. Lange, an instrumental and vocal music teacher at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, was cited for “his skill as a leader and agent for positive change, and his superior ability to inspire love of learning.” He also directs Carroll’s Jazz Ensemble.

The Kohl Fellowship is co-sponsored by the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Council of Religious and Independent Schools, Wisconsin Cooperative Educational Service Agencies, and the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. Recipients receive $1,000 awards.
