Unknown Alderman

In a recent poll conducted by the Waukesha Now, 71% of the respondents said "I've never talked with my alderman and don't even know who it is"  That is an incredibly high percentage.  If I am elected as the new alderman of district 13, I promise that at least 50% of the people in my district will know who I am at the end of my first term.  Someone needs to stand up for the people of their district.  My daughter and I went out and knocked on about 130 doors in the last two days, and I asked each house if they knew who their alderman was. Only five could tell me the name of their current alderman.
