Waukesha Weekend Guide Sept. 27th-29th

Friday September 27th- 

Oconomowoc’s Costume Swap- 
Bring your gently used (clean, no rips, tears or missing parts) costumes to Roots Coffebar in Oconomowoc from September 21st-27th 2013 for drop off and pick out/up on September 28th from 10:00am-1:00pm!
The drop off will be available anytime that The Roots Coffeebar & Cafe is open, there will be a container set up for you to deposit your costumes, and a ticket to be attached to the costume (with your contact information) and a ticket for you to take that will correspond with the ticket placed on the costume. Costumes must be in like new condition (no rips, tears or stains) and will be rejected if not up to the standards.
You may swap more than one costume, and you are also welcome to donate extra costumes to the swap. Pick up will be from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday the 28th of September. If you have any questions, please email me at lakecountryfamily@gmail.com

Harvest Festival- 
Head on over to State Fair Park and enjoy the Harvest Fair. There are a ton of free activites and live music to be enjoyed. There will also be a special little kids area for the littlest ones to enjoy. They will have ticketed activites as well this year such as pumpkin bowling, animal rides, kiddie tractor maze. So make a day of it and enjoy this awesome family event! 5:00pm until 11:00pm

Oconomowoc Homecoming Parade- 
Join in the homecoming celebration in Oconomowoc for the traditional homecoming parade! The parade starts at Fowler Park and continues through Downtown, and ends at Roosevelt Park. The parade beings at 5:15 pm
Arrowhead Homecoming Parade-
Head to downtown Hartland for the Arrowhead High School parade at 5:30 p.m. Then head over to the high school for the homecoming football game at 7:00 p.m.

Kettle Moraine Homecoming Parade- 
There is a new route this year! The High School will be open for traffic to events such as the Chili Dinner via the North entrance.
Oak Crest will be closed immediately after the North entrance. The parade will leave and return from the South entrance of the High School. Most of the grassy area in front of the High School between the North and South driveways will no longer be passed with the parade route. Parade begins at 5:30pm

Waukesha Freeman Friday Night Live-
This event will have you dancing in the streets through downtown Waukesha. (This is a Lake Country Family Fun favorite). The event starts at 6:30 pm and runs through 9:00 pm each Friday night.

Saturday September 28th-
Oconomowoc’s Annual Costume Swap-
Pick up will be from 10:00am until 1:00pm on at Roots Coffebar & Café (124 Wisconsin Ave, Oconomowoc) If you have any questions, please email lakecountryfamily@gmail.com.

Oconomowoc Farmers Market- 
7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon- Municipal City Parking Lot by the old train depot. 175 E. Wisconsin Avenue
Waukesha Farmers Market-
The Waukesha Farmers’ Market is an open-air, producer-only public market that operates every Saturday, May 4th through October 26th, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. The Waukesha Farmers’ Market is held in Historic Downtown Waukesha and takes place along the south side of the Fox River in Riverfront Plaza.

Delafield Farmers Market- 
Fish Hatchery Parking lot, runs from 8:00am-1:00pm

New Berlin Farmers Market-
Locally Wisconsin grown! Local vendors gather in the parking lot of the New Berlin Safety Building with locally grown or produced goods. Products vary from spring flowers, fresh vegetables, homemade bakery & many, many more!

Mukwonago Fall Fest includes many activities throughout the downtown area including-

Autumn Harvest Fest- Elegant Farmer-
Hayrides, pony rides, apple picking and more will all be happening at the Elegant Farmer! They will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and the East Troy electric railroad will be running!

Menomonee Falls Fire Department Open House- 
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department invites you to their Fire Station Open Houses!
The four stations will be open on different days with different things to see and do at each station.
Meet the Firefighters and EMTs, see the trucks and tour the station.
Stop by for fun and education for the entire family!
Sunday September 29th-

Autumn Harvest Fest- Elegant Farmer-
Hayrides, pony rides, apple picking and more will all be happening at the Elegant Farmer! They will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and the East Troy electric railroad will be running!

Taste of New Berlin-
Enjoy samples from a variety of local restaurants, caterers and specialty shops as they showcase their specialty dishes for your enjoyment. Simply pre-purchase a passport from one of our advertised vendors, the Chamber of Commerce office or City Hall and you will be entitled to sample the signature dishes of our local vendors. Beverages will be available for sale by individual vendors. This is a fun family event with games and activities for younger children.
Individual tickets $10.00 Children 12 and under $6.00 Family 4 packs $30.00 Children under 3 free

Pewaukee Fall Frolic-
Head over to Simmons Woods Park to celebrate the start of autumn with a hike through wooded trails. There will be craft and activity stations along the trails. 1:00pm-3
