Waukesha Weekend Guide Aug 22nd-25th

The activities begin at 6 pm. There will be a fantastic Magic Show from 6:30 – 7:15 pm with children’s games following from 7:30 – 8 pm. The movie being showing is Hotel Transylvania and it begins at 8 pm. So pack up your blankets and chairs to Nixon Park for an evening full of fun!


Cars and Guitars- Featuring Live Local Bands! Bring your lawn chair and your classic car and enjoy an evening of great music and cool cars!

Muskego Fest-
Muskego Fest is the largest free admission festival is Southeastern Wisconsin!
Thursday is Family night, it will be alcohol-free with wristband special for midway rides. All vendors will be open in the food court.
6:00 – 10:00 PM – Calkins Midway wristband special
6:00 – 8:00 PM – Press Play (Food Court)
6:30 PM – Muskego Teen Idol Semi-finals (Anita’s Dance Center Family Stage)
6:30 PM – Maxine’s Studio of Dance (Miller Lite Stage)

Mexican Fiesta-

Mexican Fiesta will be bring the the sound, culture, and taste of Mexico to Milwaukee’s lakefront. There will be over 400 exhibitors and vendors, a community and health care pavilion, Latino inspired art, children’s area and stage and a soccer tournament!

Free Admission from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. for general public.
Stamp for re-entry available after 6:00 pm


Muskego Fest- 

Muskego Fest is the largest free admission festival is Southeastern Wisconsin!

5:00 PM – Opening Ceremony
5:00 PM – Friday night FISH FRY (Hawg City Grill – Food Court)
5:00 – 7:00 PM – The Orphans (Food Court)
6:30 – 8:30 PM – Radio Disney Road Show & Anita’s Dancers (Anita’s Dance Center Family Stage)
7:00 – 11:00 PM – Cold Sweat & the Brew City Horns (Miller Lite Stage)
7:30 – 11:30 PM – Mt. Olive (MGD Stage)


Waukesha Freeman Friday Night Live-
This event will have you dancing in the streets through downtown Waukesha. (This is a Lake Country Family Fun favorite). The event starts at 6:30 pm and runs through 9:00 pm each Friday night.

Summer Concerts at the Beach-Oconomowoc-
From 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm with the Hartland Community Band performing.

Oconomowoc Farmers Market-
7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon- Municipal City Parking Lot by the old train depot. 175 E. Wisconsin Avenue


Waukesha Farmers Market-
The Waukesha Farmers’ Market is an open-air, producer-only public market that operates every Saturday, May 4th through October 26th, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. The Waukesha Farmers’ Market is held in Historic Downtown Waukesha and takes place along the south side of the Fox River in Riverfront Plaza.


Delafield Farmers Market-
Fish Hatchery Parking lot, runs from 8:00am-1:00pm

Wings Over Waukesha-
Wings Over Waukesha Air Show returns to Waukesha County Airport August 24 & 25, 2013, featuring a variety of nationally-renowned aerobatics acts, wing walkers, sky divers and a host of contemporary and vintage aircraft from both civilian and military aviation. In addition to the daily air show at 1:00 p.m., this family-friendly event offers the opportunity to get a ride in an airplane or helicopter. Kids and adults will also have the opportunity to learn about flying, aircraft and the important role of military aviation, while meeting local pilots and getting a close-up view of their aircraft, many of which have been painstakingly restored to their original mid-1900′s condition. Food, beverages and aviation-related merchandise are available for purchase throughout the show grounds.

4:00 – 6:00 PM – Jerry and Nora with the Memphis Review (Food Court)
6:00 PM – Festival Closes
The Parade route will change for 2013 due to Janesville Road construction.
Route will start on Janesville Road at Muskego County Park Entrance,
proceed east to Racine Avenue, then south to the Festival Grounds
(Veteran’s Memorial Park) at Racine Avenue and Pioneer Drive.
