Kettle Moraine’s DECA Bash on the Grass-

KM DECA is putting on their world famous “Bash on the Grass” event on Friday Sept. 20th from 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. just before the home football game against Muskego. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be used to purchase an outdoor playground station for a little boy named Cayden. Cayden is two years old suffering from histiocytosis (LCH). There will be separate ticket sales for the activities, and then for the food. Get unlimited rock climbing, wrestling, laser tag, bungee bull, gyro-sphere, photo booth. 3:30 pm until 7:00pm

Waukesha Freeman Friday Night Live-
This event will have you dancing in the streets through downtown Waukesha. (This is a Lake Country Family Fun favorite). The event starts at 6:30 pm and runs through 9:00 pm each Friday night.

Saturday-September 21st- 

Oconomowoc’s Costume Swap-
Bring your gently used (clean, no rips, tears or missing parts) costumes to Roots Coffebar in Oconomowoc from September 21st-27th 2013 for drop off and pick out/up on September 28th from 10:00am-1:00pm!
The drop off will be available anytime that The Roots Coffeebar & Cafe is open, there will be a container set up for you to deposit your costumes, and a ticket to be attached to the costume (with your contact information) and a ticket for you to take that will correspond with the ticket placed on the costume. Costumes must be in like new condition (no rips, tears or stains) and will be rejected if not up to the standards.
You may swap more than one costume, and you are also welcome to donate extra costumes to the swap. Pick up will be from 10:00am until 1:00pm on Saturday the 28th of September. If you have any questions, please email me at lakecountryfamily@gmail.com

Oconomowoc Farmers Market-
7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon- Municipal City Parking Lot by the old train depot. 175 E. Wisconsin Avenue

Waukesha Farmers Market-
The Waukesha Farmers’ Market is an open-air, producer-only public market that operates every Saturday, May 4th through October 26th, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., rain or shine. The Waukesha Farmers’ Market is held in Historic Downtown Waukesha and takes place along the south side of the Fox River in Riverfront Plaza.

Delafield Farmers Market-
Fish Hatchery Parking lot, runs from 8:00am-1:00pm

North Lake Harvest Festival-
This annual event in North Lake is sure to keep the whole family happy, from the parade to the duck races, everyone will be happy! The parade is at 12:00pm and begins in the Churchill Ridge Subdivision, there will be food by local businesses, a corn roast, kickball, flea market, flight for life and a classic car show. They will have a Pirate Ship, vintage Fire Trucks, Arrowhead Marching Band, annimal rides and more! There will be a live music stream by WI Hot Rod Radio and plenty of games and raffles!

Carseat Safety Check-Waukesha-
This weekend holds Seat Belt Saturday! Car crashes kill more children than any other cause,so check to see if your child is buckled up properly. Certified, volunteer child passenger safety technicians will help families make sure children are riding safely. A limited supply of low-cost car seats will be available for purchase. To purchase a seat, child and car must be present. Please indicate your interest in purchasing a seat when making an appointment. To make an appointment call 414-231-4896.

Apple Harvest Festival-
This Saturday you will enjoy tons of different activites at Retzer Nature Center for their Annual Apple Harvest Festival! There will be delicious food, an apple pie baking contest, and also an apple market with over 55 varieties of apples to choose from! Don’t forget about the craft fair, nature hikes, horse-drawn wagon rides, scarecrow lane, folk concert, children’s activities, silent auction, and Planetarium shows! There will be a $5 parking fee.

Autumn Harvest Fest- Elegant Farmer-
Hayrides, pony rides, apple picking and more will all be happening at the Elegant Farmer! They will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and the East Troy electric railroad will be running!
Menomonee Falls Fire Department Open House-
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department invites you to their Fire Station Open Houses!
The four stations will be open on different days with different things to see and do at each station.
Meet the Firefighters and EMTs, see the trucks and tour the station.
Stop by for fun and education for the entire family!
