(April 2, 2014)—United Way in Waukesha County would like to invite volunteers to the following volunteer opportunities:

Join the Relay for Life Committee! – Hartland
The Relay for Life of Lake Country is looking to add members to our planning committee. Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature fundraising event and we are looking for Lake Country residents to help put on another great event in 2014. The event will be held in June and our planning committee meets the second Tuesday of each month from 6-7pm.

Recycled Cans Transport - Brookfield

Volunteers are needed during clinic hours (5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There is no set schedule for volunteering and training is provided for all roles.

Best Buddies Friendship Walk - Delafield

Everyone over 16 years of age is welcome to volunteer; please invite a friend or two to join you! Proceeds from the Best Buddies Wisconsin Friendship Walk will be used to support our programs. Together we can create opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development ...for students both with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities!

Entertainer - Waukesha

This opportunity is available Monday – Friday and the times are 10:30am or 2:30pm, choose which time works best for you and/or your group. This is a great opportunity for youth groups, families, community groups or business groups.
