United Way Connects the Community to Volunteer Opportunities

(November 6, 2013)—United Way in Waukesha County would like to invite volunteers to the following volunteer opportunities:

Christmas Parade Volunteer Recruitment – Waukesha

Want to spread holiday cheer in a fun, unique, and unforgettable way? Then volunteer to be part of the Christmas Parade! There are several opportunities available. Get a group of friends and family together, and find one that suits your style. Distribute bags, carry banners, work crowd control, wear a costume, or be a runner!

A Time to Say Thanks - Hartland

November is a time to reflect on the many things we are thankful for - especially our event team captains! If you enjoy customer service and speaking on the phone join the National MS Society and assist with our Thank a thon. Volunteers will assist with outbound calls to event participants to express gratitude for their continued support. Volunteers will receive brief training, call scripts, and phone lists.

Breakfast with Santa - Oconomowoc

Come join us for Santa, pancakes, crafts, and more! Families can come and enjoy a pancake breakfast, visit with Santa and enjoy some Christmas crafts and activities. Volunteers will assist in facilitating the above activities.

Child Care Provider for Mom’s Support Group – Waukesha
