Volunteer Now: Happy Hour Assistant; Tutor Children

Happy Hour Assistant, Waukesha Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center, Waukesha

Assist our staff in passing out treats and beverages during our Happy Hour Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Enjoy reminiscing with our residents during this hour of fun. Get to know our residents on a 1:1 basis as you stroll down memory lane or join in on a sing along. Come by yourself or with a friend.

Would You Like To Tutor a Child?, Salvation Army, Waukesha
Salvation Army Waukesha is looking to provide tutoring to under achieving students in our area beginning in January. To provide a quality program we are looking for volunteers who love children, are committed to helping them succeed, willing to attend training and can commit to one to two hours per week. We would like to enlist our volunteers and have them trained so we can start servicing students after the beginning of the New Year. Requirements: Volunteers will need to be mature, and be able to provide one-on-one training as well as group instruction. Volunteer application including background check will be required for anyone over 18 years of age.

Store Associate, St. Vincent De Paul Waukesha County, Waukesha

This position could vary according to the likes or dislikes of the volunteer. We need volunteers to sort donated items, stock our shelves, or put price tags on merchandise. We also have positions available in the book department or if you have a particular talent such as jewelry or clock repair etc. we will find work for you. No specific requirements are needed.

Outings Assistant, Richard's Place, Inc., Waukesha

Looking for a fun way to get out and enjoy the community? Join us on our outings to places like the zoo, movies, shops, museums and more! Volunteers are needed to assist our staff with clients during trips. Come and have fun while socializing with and assisting adults with disabilities. Dates and times vary. Requirements: Volunteers must be able to push a manual wheelchair.
