Jeanne Tarantino, 98th Assembly District Candidate, Raises Nearly $19,000

Community leaders and donors get behind the Tarantino Campaign.

Waukesha, Wis. – Jeanne Tarantino raised $18,566.42 during the latest reporting period for the special election in the 98th Assembly District, rounding out a steady fundraising effort over the brief month and a half since the election was announced.

Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, Waukesha District Attorney Brad Schimel, Waukesha County Sheriff Dan Trawicki, County Clerk Kathleen Madden, County Board Supervisors Michael Crowley and Fritz Ruf, Former Waukesha Mayor Carol Lombardi, Former District Attorney Paul Bucher, Former State Senator Joanne Hueslman and Former Assembly Speaker Scott Jensen.  She has also been endorsed by business leaders James Klauser, Ty Taylor, Jerry and Judie Couri, Caryn Papenthien, Ty Taylor, Dave Bahl Sr, and David Karst.

Jeanne Tarantino will be on the ballot for the February 19, 2013 election in the 98th Assembly District. She resides in Waukesha with her three children.

Good for her! It is sickening how one of the other candidates and his goons are trying to discredit her with lies and skewing the real story. Thank you for showing such dignity and grace Ms. Tarantino!
J D January 29, 2013 at 09:39 pm
What evidence do you have of another candidate attempting to "discredit" her? First of all, everything in Dan Bice's column: http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/188389991.html are direct quotes, not political spin. She said those things! Under oath! By trying to bring another candidate "and his goons" into this mess (in which Dan Bice himself denies) you're simply trying to divert attention away from the "real story". We simply can't trust Ms. Tarantino.
Keith Best January 29, 2013 at 09:55 pm
Hey ImConservative,
Dan Bice posted on his on-line column that I am NOT the source of the leak. He has confirmed that to Tarantino supporters that have contacted him. He will tell you it is NOT one of the other candidates that leaked this to him. Hey ImConservative, you hide behind your screen name.I am NOT afraid to post under my real name because I have nothing to hide and tell the truth. Who's REALLY lying here???

Just because someone says he/she is a source doesn't make it so. I know exactly who gave me the deposition and other documents. It was not Keith Best..

I heard Belling give, what sounded like to me, another candidate endorsement. Listen to today's podcast and I think you will get the picture

I hope it wasn't the guy that said to me , " I hate the woman vote!"

Given the nonsense JEANNE TARANTINO said under oath, this photo is ironic and should also be used on Jeanne's political epitaph.

Journalists usually never reveal their source.

The People on the board of the Waukesha Co Republican Party are in Leadership roles and really should not be this vocal about any/all of the candidates. Period. One other thing, re-read the half of the story that was reported by bice. Please be intelligent enough to know the difference of one expressing ones feelings to her bosses boss and "actually filling" charges/accusations!!! If indeed there were "charges" made there would have been a lot more than bice and belling breaking this story and it would have happened a long time ago! That would have included a lawsuit filed in court and a lot more than "just feelings" being aired during an exhusting divorce deposition that lasted all day A bunch of jealous imuture infighting ignorant people! I say grow up and show some real Leadership...the kind the the RNC Chairman just wrote about, the Govorner, the Lt. Gov all would like to see within the party.

Our spruce trees have been dying as well. Very slowly. This is on upper Coventry lane just acrossRead More from the walkway to Meadowbrook school.

I agree that the folks at this Kwik Trip are great at assisting disabled people like myself but IRead More disagree that all Kwik Trips are helpful. There is a law that all gas stations are to assist you if you have disabled plates or a hanging placard if you press the help or disabled key on the pump. If there is no key (and I think all must have them by a certain date) then you are to honk horn twice and if there are at least 2 employees on duty, they are to assist. The K/T on St. Paul is useless. I've waited there, watching at least 3 employees mill around the counter with 1 or 2 customers and ingnore me. The Grandview station same but I haven't tried them in a few months. The worst station for that is whatever the one on St. Paul and Prarie is. I pulled in to see a female worker standing on side of building smoking. When she went in she was greeted by a male worker and I was ignored by both. I'd like to do a survey on how helpful each gas station is to the disabled. Kudos to Fleetfoot Kwik Trip! Whatever they got they should share with their brethren. I would rather give my $ to K/T because they are WI based and they donate regularly to the Salvation Army

I am fine with this service--its great. However being handicapped does not mean employees need toRead More give up their breaks or other customers need to let you cut in line in front of their service needs.

Will these need water? Because the Garden Center at Target has great deals on "no water"Read More tomato plants, which would surely save me some much needed General Assistance money.
Kathy Spancrete June 13, 2013 at 09:14 pm
According to a recent episode of Judge Judy, tomatoes can be both poisonous and deadly. When IRead More called the posted phone number asking for a simple answer to my many serious questions, and all they did was put me on hold -- repeatedly. I cannot recommend a company that refuses to stand behind its own product, much less pick up the phone.
