HAWS and Taco John's - a Very Festive Partnership!
For the third consecutive year, Taco John's presented HAWS with a very generous donation, resulting from their holiday fundraising efforts.
As the beneficiary of an incredible community fundraising effort, for the third consecutive year, HAWS has received a generous donation from Taco John's of Waukesha!
Representatives from the restaurant at 317 N. Grand Avenue, Waukesha, presented the shelter with a check for over $2,100.00, the result of their December "Nachos Navidad" promotion and through sales of Christmas ornaments hung at the Waukesha eatery.
"We really see a following during the holiday season when it comes to Nachos Navidad®," notes Dusty Stiefel, Taco John's Unit General Manager. "People really enjoy the holiday tradition and their generosity helped us raise a wonderful donation for HAWS. We thank our customers for their continued support of this partnership!"
Lynn Olenik, HAWS' Executive Director, adds: "HAWS is so privileged to work with Taco John’s, and honored to be the very grateful recipient of this year’s Nachos Navidad® and ornament sale proceeds. They are a wonderful community partner and we truly appreciate their generosity."
