A November to Remember Begins at HAWS

HAWS  gives you a great way to start working on your Christmas shopping list!

The Friends of HAWS annual Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale is this Saturday, November 2, from 9am to 4pm. The Friends have collected many, many great gift items for both the pets and people in your life; plus there will be a wide array of bakery for sale - enough to satisfy any sweet tooth (pet bakery, too)!

Additionally, you can purchase tickets to win great raffle prizes, get the latest HAWS ‘Paw logo’ clothing and secure your copy of the 2014 Entertainment Book.

You’ll want to stay for lunch: the Friends will be serving goodies donated by Fresh Market, Brookfield AND Culver's of Mukwonago! Yum!

There are several special features at this year’s sale. A large selection of Christmas Village collectibles will be available for just $4 each, including Dickens Village and others. Also, several volunteers will be holding a “rummage” - selling gently used and lovingly refurbished carriers, kennels, and cages for a variety of pets!

Can't come to the Bazaar? Maybe you could bake cookies or donate an item to sell? Baked goods and sale items can be dropped off at HAWS this Thursday and Friday from noon until 6pm.

By the way - coming THIS SUNDAY is our annual “TTouch for Little Critters” hands-on seminar. Learn how to use gentle touches to help release tension in stressful situations like vet visits and grooming sessions.  $20 adults/$12 kids – preregistration is required.
