Old World Wisconsin Opens - "The Legacy of the Land"

Old World Wisconsin begins a new season with enthusiasm, and with a good variety of more than 30 special events planned throughout the season, which runs from May 1 to October 31.  This season, the events are cented on the theme, "The Legacy of the Land," looking at the land as a vital source of food, pleasure and livelihood.  May 1 will feature the Bustle Hustle 5K Run/Walk at 10:00 a.m. in this second before-hours run/walk through the museum grounds.  A free family pass admission ticket, $43 value, is included with run/walk registration.

Old World Wisconsin is a premier outdoor museum of 19th-century immigrant farm and rural life, located in Eagle, in southwest Waukesha County.  When you visit, you'll find more than 65 historic buildings relocated from around the state.  Please visit the Old World Wisconsin website to register for the May 1 run/walk and for the hours of operation for the season, which vary by date and day.
