Community Corner

FREE Shred Day

First Federal Bank is hosting a FREE Shred Day open to all community members on Saturday, November 2 from 10 am - 12 pm. at the Eastside Office location, 1617 E. Racine, Ave. (corner of Hwy 164 and Racine Ave.) Individuals are invited to drop off up to 3 boxes of old documents to be shredded on site in the bank's parking lot.  Staples and hanging folders are permissible; however 3-ring binders will need to be disposed of seperately.  In adddition to this First Federal bank is holding a food drive for the Waukesha Mom's chapter of Blessings in a Backpack.  Every Friday children that are on a free and reduced lunch program get a bag of food put in their backpacks, providing food for their weekends.  The program hopes to expand.  The donations must fit into a backpack; applesauce cups, granola bars, fruit cups, ramen noodles, juice boxes, individual tuna containers and crackers.
