Join us in wearing blue on November 15, as we come together to support the children who are grieving the loss of loved ones due to death, divorce, abandonment, incarceration, military deployment and immigration.
There will be children's activities in the Horning cafeteria (temporary tattoos, coloring/banner creation/ hand tracing) prior to the program. The formal event runs from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with the following:

Dan Vrakas, Waukesha County Executive, will deliver an official proclamatioin.
Chris Beck, Executive Director of Healing Hearts of Waukesha County will show a 5 minute video created to honor this day.
Melissa Minkley, of the Waukesha County Grief Network will deliver follow-up remarks.
As a finale, the Children's Choir of Waukesha performs.
Following the ceremony, guests are invited to have refreshments, cookies made by participants in the ACAP (Adaptive Community Approach Program) and blue lemonade.
