Enameling Extravaganza

Waukesha Community Art Project will host
The Great Lakes Enameling Guild at the
WCAP South Street Studio during the Art Crawl

Saturday May 3 from 4-8 p.m.
320 South Street, Waukesha

Artists from the Enameling Guild will demonstrate enameling techniques and will offer a fun "Make and Take" enameled pin or pendant project which guests can create with the help of guild members.

The Great Lakes Enameling Guild is a regional group of approximately 60 artists who work with enamel.  Enameling is the art of fusing glass onto metal to create colorful and interesting designs.  The Guild is dedicated to the sharing of ideas, information and skills with fellow artists of all skill levels.  The guild holds workshops and enameling studio sessions at WCAP's South Street Studio.

Artwork by guild members including jewelry and other enameled objects will be available for purchase.

WCAP volunteers will be on hand with information about the free after school art program for middle school students offered by WCAP, as well as the upcoming Summer Art Program.

The event is free and open to the public.
