Design and Production Using Adobe® Illustrator®

In this class, instructor Andrew Mansfield will teach you the basics of designing and production using Adobe Illustrator. We will be using real-life examples and use printer-friendly files to explain complex terms such as CMYK, Pantone, spot colors, crop marks and other printing terminology. We will learn to use compound paths, masks converting fonts to outlines, layers other useful tools when designing or creating. Sample projects include: logo design, business card layout and design, letterhead and or envelope design, illustration or vehicle ID illustration and design, label and or package layout and design, CD label and jacket layout and design.
