American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb

Join us for the Climb of your life!
WHAT: Whether you're an experienced climber or looking for a new challenge, the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb at the U.S. Bank Center in downtown Milwaukee is the event for you!  Help impact lung health throughout Wisconsin.  This is a competitive and non-competitive event and is open to men, women and children.
WHY: The Fight for Air Climb is a vertical stairclimb benefiting the American Lung Association.  On Saturday, March 22, join over 2,900 participants for this extraordinary climb of your life to the top of the tallest building in the state of Wisconsin.  Depending on participation type, participants will start up the stairwell every 5 seconds, starting at 7:00 a.m.  Awards will be given to the top fundraisers as well as the fastest finishers.  You can walk or run to the top, but most importantly, you will have fun raising money for an important cause.  Funds raised at this event support the American Lung Association’s clean air initiatives, vital programs and research in the fight against lung cancer, asthma, emphysema and other lung diseases.
The American Lung Association fights lung disease through education, community services, public policy and research.  Founded in 1904, it is the oldest nationwide voluntary health agency in the United States. The Lung Association works to help those who suffer from lung disease today and to the stop the spread of lung disease tomorrow.
Your partnership with the American Lung Association can make a difference to millions of those who are literally fighting for air.
HOW:  The process begins with corporate sponsorship donations of $3,000 - $35,000, with the balance generated from participating climbers each raising a minimum of $100.  Corporate teams, families, friends and competitive athletes will participate in this unique event and help support the life-saving programs of the American Lung Association.  Registration is $15 before January 10, 2014 and $25 starting January 11, 2014.
