Waukesha Week in Review: Feb. 10-Feb. 16

ATM skimmers, drunken driving arrest among top news stories.

Check your bank accounts and change your pin number if you were one of the people who used U.S. Bank’s ATM before a skimming device and a pinhole camera were found at the Silvernail Road location.

Police released images of the suspect in the crime, while the incident left many worried about the security of their debit and credit cards.

Meanwhile, a top campaign strategist for Jeanne Tarantino, who is running for the 98th Assembly District, made top headlines in the area when she was arrested for her second drunken driving offense. Police in Pewaukee reported Rachel Pecor had a 0.2 percent blood alcohol concentration while she was driving to pick up Tarantino’s child from dance class. Pecor has since been removed from the campaign.
