Get the weekly buzz on Fridays on Wauesha Patch

Stop in at Beading Hearts Studio for one of their new Thursday themed evenings: Simply Stringing, Kumi Klub, Open Beading Night, or a Saturday Macrame' Maniac class. Next Wednesday is a special wire wrapped ring class. 

Live music is a'plenty in Downtown Waukesha this weekend. On Friday Generations has Phil Norby, Bosco's has DJ Musko, The Steaming Cup has Tony Memmel, and Nice Ash has Joey Gleesing.

On Saturday check out Sprizzo's with local jazz and swing artists, The Steaming Cup has the Front Porch Boys, Bosco's with Burgundy Ties, or Nice Ash with Dublin O'Shea.

Bosco's Social Club: Green beer and specials

Cuddles/Martha Merrells: 15 percent off anything Irish or green, including book titles. For example, a book about the "Green" Bay Packers counts!

D Mo's Italian Pasta and Chop House: St. Patrick's Day drink specials 

Divino Gelato: Flavor of the day is shamrock and has a buy one, get one special.

Horse Emporium: Now through March 17, receive 17 percent off any item that is green in the store. Yes - it could be green shampoo, green saddle pads or a green halter.

House of Guinness: Start your day with an Irish breakfast beginning at 6:30 a.m., have a corned beef sandwich for lunch and enjoy the outdoor beer garden. Special surprises throughout the day. Maybe you'll see a leprechaun?  

Little Swiss Clock Shop: Look in your closet for anything green. If you wear green to the Clock Shop on St. Patrick's Day, you'll receive $2 off a watch battery. 

Poppin' on Broadway: Treat yourself with a "St. Patty's Day Mix" of green apple and vanilla popcorn. Or try the green white chocolate covered caramel corn. Green "dill pickle" popcorn should liven up your day!

River's End Gallery: Anything in the gallery that is green or has a lot of green in it will be 10 percent off through March 19.

Rochester Deli: Irish breakfast 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. March 17, corned beef and cabbage and Irish stew 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; iced shamrock cookies; Irish beer.
