Storm Brings Hail to Waukesha
Pea-sized hail lasted for several minutes Sunday morning but tornado potential still exists for the afternoon and evening.
The thunderstorm descended on Waukesha and was quickly over, but not before coating the ground with pebbles of pea-sized hail.
But, just because the storm stopped abruptly doesn't mean it is over,
The National Weather Service is predicting that a warm front will move into the area late this afternoon and evening, bringing a strong chance of thunderstorms in the Waukesha area. The thunderstorms could produce damaging winds and large hail with the potential for a tornado, according to the National Weather Service.
