The City of Waukesha and the downtown area are under a flood advisory, meaning minor floods could occur when the rainfall leads to elevated stream and river levels.
The Fox River in downtown Waukesha has slightly elevated levels following a short thunderstorm that brought heavy rain but did not appear to be too high Tuesday afternoon.
