“First, we wish to do this by embarking in a pictorial and oral history project of Latino and Latina veterans from all over Wisconsin. Secondly, we wish to recognize the memory of those Latino veterans who were killed-in-action (KIA), former prisoners of war, missing-in-action (MIA) and those who served in peace time or in war times and have since passed away. We want to recognize these veterans with a memorial.”
