Frost Is a Possibility Tonight

Make sure you cover up those plants or bring them inside.

Despite an unusually warm start to spring that is bringing leaves to our trees already, a cool, dry airmass will cause temperatures to drop to near frost levels tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures could reach the low- to mid-30s tonight, according to the NWS. The greatest threat is along and north of Interstate-94.

“Early season cold-sensitive vegetation will be vulnerable to these colder temperatures and potential frost formation,” the NWS states. “Take the necessary precautions by either bringing plants indoors or applying a cover.”
