Fox River Flooding Continues in Waukesha

Has the flooding reached the three bears in downtown Waukesha yet?

Homes along the Fox River on Bethesda Court in Waukesha are experiencing flooding problems.

Six to seven homes have 2 feet to 3 feet deep water resting in the back yards, according to the National Weather Service.

Flood stage for the Fox River is 6 feet. As of early Thursday afternoon, the water was 6.5 feet.Β

If the water reaches 6.8 feet, the banks in Frame Park will overflow, according to the National Weather Service. The flood warning remains in effect until the river falls below 6 feet.

As for the bears and the dragonfly? The dragonfly statue is almost completely covered in water. Water is nearing the smallest bear along the riverwalk.
