A Date to Remember: Waukesha Baby Born at 12:12 p.m. on 12-12-12

At 12:12 p.m. on 12-12-12, Holli Hoeffler gave birth to a baby boy.

Holli and her husband, John, knew their son was born on Aaron Rodgers Day but chose to name him Teagan George Hoeffler.

"We will have a story to tell for forever," said Holli, who is recovering at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Holli was scheduled for an induction on Friday, although her due date was Wednesday.

"We knew what it was. It was Aaron Rodgers Day," Holli told Waukesh Patch on Thursday. "The thought was 'Well, wouldn’t that be cool,' but people don’t normally hit their due dates."

Holli started having contractions Tuesday night and was admitted to Waukesha Memorial Hospital at 6 a.m. Wednesday. At 12:06 p.m., she was ready to have her baby.

The doctor came in the room and told her, "Holli, you are complete, you are ready to go. We are going to do this, we are going to hit 12:12 (p.m.)."

"It kind of had been a joke. ... I still didn’t think it was feasible," Holli said. "I didn’t think I could push him out in six minutes."

But since Teagan is the couple's second child, it was easier than when 2-1/2-year-old big brother Carter was born.
