WPCVB Restaurant Hospitality Hero Winner

Waukesha Pewaukee, WI- As a part of the 2013 National Tourism Week celebrations, the Waukesha Pewaukee Convention and Visitor Bureau (WPCVB) kicked off a monthly hospitality staff recognition program, Hospitality Hero! Each month a different segment of the hospitality industry will be recognized. This month the WPCVB asked partner businesses at Waukesha Pewaukee restaurants to nominate servers that exemplify outstanding customer service and leadership qualities that make them a Hospitality Hero for their company.

DJ Hagen, server at People’s Park in Waukesha is this month’s Hospitality Hero! Owners, Jim & Susie Taylor and Dan Taylor nominated DJ for his reliability and positive attitude. One example sited his coined phrase “Not a problem, I’ll take care of that!” while serving tables. He assured Susie Taylor with the same phrase after the devastating fire at People’s Park in 2010. He’s been with People’s Park since it opened and has consistently been a favorite of customers and well respected by co-workers alike. DJ serves with speed and proficiency and exemplifies the heart of a leader, taking on less rewarding tasks if it benefits the restaurant as a whole.  The WPCVB is please to recognize DJ Hagen for his 5 years of service and his part in the broader role of offering an exceptional dining experience to visitors in our destination!

The Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB) is an economic development organization that strengthens the area by attracting visitors in the convention, sports and leisure markets. Through CVB sales and marketing efforts, Waukesha Pewaukee hosts lively meetings of waterfronts, downtowns, fun and people.   To learn more about our meetings visit www.visitwaukesha.org.
