Wisconsin Oven Opening New Plant in Waukesha

The expansion of the industrial oven manufacturer will bring 20 new jobs to Waukesha.

Wisconsin Oven, an industrial oven manufacturer based in East Troy, is expanding to Waukesha and adding another plant that would bring 20 new jobs.

Dave Strand, President and CEO of Wisconsin Oven Corporation, said in a release that the move is a result of record sales for the company in 2012. “We have a need for immediate space due to backlog and what East Troy had available wasn’t going to meet our needs,” Strand said.

The 40 year old company will open up shop in an existing 30,000-square-foot facility on Pewaukee Road. The new plant will increase the capacity of the industrial oven manufacturer’s existing four facilities in East Troy.

“We also hope by opening a plant in Waukesha, we will find a larger pool of skilled trade talent to draw from,” Strand said.

The expansion will help Wisconsin Oven continue to design and manufacture a broad line of heating equipment.
