Waukesha Company Bringing Forward Wind Turbine Proposal

GE Healthcare seeking conditional use permit to operate 10 wind turbines.

GE Healthcare is asking the city for a conditional use permit to install 10 wind turbines throughout the property at 3000 N. Grandview Blvd.

The company will go before the Plan Commission at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 201 Delafield St. Chris Jurik, whose name is on city documents on behalf of GE Healthcare, did not return a voicemail left for him Friday morning.

City Planner Jennifer Andrews said she believes GE Healthcare’s proposal to build wind turbines is the first in Waukesha.
