Waukesha Companies Donate to Christmas Clearing Council

Thousands of area children received toys this year from donations throughout the community.

In a gesture of holiday goodwill, Waukesha Iron & Metal owners Larry and Joe Erlich donated $2,500 toan organization that helps provide Christmas gifts to families that can’t afford to purchase presents.

When the donation was made, Ford Construction also donated $500 to the organization for a combined donation of $3,000, according to Alderman Paul Ybarra.

There were 4,600 children who were in the files to receive presents this year and 3,000 of them were sponsored by the community, according to the Christmas Clearing Council’s Facebook page. The remaining children were invited to receive a gift from the organizations toy shop.
