Waukesha Business Owners Meet New BID Director at After 5 Event

Meghan Sprager visits with Business Improvement District's stakeholders.

Meghan Sprager, the new Waukesha Business Improvement District's executive director, has only been in her position a few weeks, but she spent Tuesday night visiting and getting to know the downtown business owners.

The BID's networking event After 5 was held in a vacant storefront on South Grand Avenue as community leaders came to snack on guacamole, salsa and tortilla chips, all while meeting Sprager.

The BID is the downtown area where properties are charged a higher tax assessment than the rest of Waukesha to fund the services provided by the BID.
