Waukesha BID Board Continuing Search for Executive Director

Candidate pool narrowed to 16 applicants.

The Waukesha Business Improvement District is continuing its search for a permanent executive director, a position that has been vacant since last fall.

BID Board Member Steve Kassens said Thursday morning that the executive director search committee has received 43 resumes from β€œvery qualified candidates from across the world.”

The majority of the applicants have been from the United States, but a few of the resumes came from other countries, Kassens said.

The candidate pool has been narrowed to 16 applicants and the committee hopes to narrow it to 10 candidates as it begins two months of interviews. The committee has hopes to have a consensus on one candidate following the two months of interviews and will have the BID board interview that candidate before the BID board makes the final decision.

The BID does have an interim executive director running the office while theΒ  search is in progress.
