Report: Jobs Being Lost at GE Healthcare

Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that 100 employees being let go in Milwaukee and Waukesha.

About 100 employees of in Milwaukee and Waukesha are being let go, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

An official from GE Healthcare told the newspaper that the job losses were because of the “economic uncertainty,” according to the report.

Bloomberg reported that there will not be any job cuts as several executives or “top managers” will be relocated to Asia. Business Insider further clarifies that there were no expected job losses in Waukesha.

BizTimes.com reported that GE Healthcare is investing $2 billion in business growth in China.
