Patch Picks: Valentine's Day Dinner for Your Sweetheart

Waukesha Patch looks at five romantic restaurants to take your Valentine this week. We asked some of our readers and included their responses and added a few of our own.

•   The lounge is in the heart of downtown Waukesha and offers a setting to grab a bottle of wine and dine with your significant other. This idea came from a reader on the Waukesha Patch Facebook account. www.facebook.com/WaukeshaPatch

• . For those looking for something a little more low key, the coffee shop has small desserts and lattes. You can snuggle up on the couches by the fireplace or pretend you are in France when eating by its mural.

 •J Lotti’s Pub & Grill, 225 South Street. J. Lotti's has a special Valentine's Day dinner planned, including chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne.

• . D Mo’s website boasts that its culinary team was trained in places from Italy to New York. With Valentine’s Day falling on a Monday, the daily special includes half off martinis at the restaurant inside upscale The Clarke Hotel.

• . It might be cold outside, but if your significant other warms up your heart, then why not try the chocolate cherry smooch gelato? A buy-one-get-one-free special is being held on Valentine’s Day.
