New Laser Tag Business Opening Soon in Waukesha

iCOMBAT will be located near Sunset Drive in Waukesha.

A new laser tag business is opening just off of Sunset Drive in Waukesha this month.

iCOMBAT opens at 1023 Spring City Drive on June 22 near the Shoppes at Fox River, according to a news release from the company.

“Our equipment is so realistic that it is used by SWAT teams and Special Forces units around the world,” said President Rick Jensen in a news release. “The competitions will take place in a Hollywood-style movie set of a middle-eastern city and be made even more intense by special light and sound effects.”

The laser tag company designed its equipment to look like the gear used by military and police, the release states. The facility will be opening for training for military and police during the week.

The general public, ages 13 and above, can use the facility at night and on weekends. Admission is $30 for an hour. Children between 13 and 18 need parental permission to use the laser tag facility.

The business can also be rented for parties, group outings and corporate events.

More from the news release:

“Your first mission might be to protect our Embassy during an attack,” said Jensen. “Your next mission might be to clear the neighborhood of enemy forces.”

The 15,000 square foot iCOMBAT facility features more than thirty one- and two story-buildings, a city square with a fountain, and a road with vehicles. There are two VIP areas for observers to watch the competition. Scores and live footage of the missions will also be shown in the lobby on eight large television screens.
