The Waukesha County Business Alliance recently celebrated a ribbon cutting and grand opening at Gaco Western, located at 1245 Chapman Drive in Waukesha.

The waterproofing and insulation manufacturer celebrated completion of a new 85,000-square-foot expansion, which more than doubled the size of its facility. The grand opening was attended by Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, who congratulated the company on its continued growth and expansion.

The expanded space provides for an increase in laboratory areas to support the company’s focus on technology and formulation developments. There is also an increase to the amount of space dedicated to manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, to accommodate the company’s continued growth and to allow all these operations to be consolidated into one facility.

“This expansion secures a strong base in the Waukesha community and allows for the continued growth that is being fueled by our innovative technologies,” said Peter Davis, President and CEO, Gaco Western.
