Five great local deals to help keep your family within a reasonable budget.

OK, so Super Bowl XLV is over. We’ve moved on from the pink hearts. But that doesn’t mean that February’s special finds have to come to a screeching halt.

So we looked around and found a few good deals that are in the community. Remember to check with the merchant for additional conditions.

1. Family Video’s used DVDs

Deal: Want to own a recent hit? Family Video has used DVDs for sale online. Toy Story 3 is being sold for $5.49 a copy. The Waukesha store also sells used DVDs, so you can browse the selection and prices at the store.

Good through: Selection is limited

2. drink special

Deal: The special drink of the month is $.60 off in February. The current drink of the month is a medium chocolate-covered cherry mocha, which is regularly priced at $4.90.

3. Sentry specials

Deal: Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are on sale for $1.59 per pound. The catch? You need a coupon from the print ad. However, you can go online and print out coupons for a gallon of milk at $1.99.

Good through: Today

4. Target’s TP deal

Deal: Purchase a 30-pack double or a 16-pack mega-roll of Charmin Ultra Soft toilet paper, and you can receive a $5 gift card back. Save the gift card for a present or use it yourself. 

Good through: Prices vary by store.

5. Cereamic Tabletop Fountains

Deal: Stein Gardens and Gifts has four styles of ceramic tabletop fountains, regularly priced at $34.99 for $19.88.

Good through: through Feb. 22
