Where can you find the "Best Hospital Food in Wisconsin"? Attend the Hospital Food Fight and watch head chefs from Wisconsin hospitals battle it out right in front of you!
Stillwaters Cancer Support Services is the only organization in Wisconsin to provide professional, cancer-specific counseling at no cost to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. All proceeds from this unique event help fund Stillwaters' counseling and support services.
Honorary Chair Joe Bartolotta invites you to attend this family-friendly event. Starting at noon on Sunday, April 22, the event includes four main components:
***Chef Competition - Hospital chefs and their teams have one hour to prepare and present a meal to the panel of judges that could be served in their dining rooms.
***"Savory Seminars" - New this year, attendees have the opportunity to learn cooking and nutrition tips from food professionals. Five twenty-minute presentations will occur throughout the afternoon.
***"Taste Test Stations" - Sample some of the very best food from area restaurants, grocers and hospitals. New this year, purchase a ballot (or two) and vote for the sample you most enjoy. The winner will receive the "Hospital Food Fight People's Choice Award"!
***Children's Activities - Kids are encouraged to participate in craft projects, activities, face painting and more.
In addition, a great raffle, interesting exhibits and more will make the afternoon fly by.
