Dunkin' Donuts on Sunset Drive Could Get 2nd Chance

Property owners seek to annex into the City of Waukesha.

The property owners of a parcel at West Sunset Drive and Prairie Avenue have the possibility of resurrecting plans for a Dunkin' Donuts with a drive-through window after requesting to annex the property from the Town of Waukesha into the City of Waukesha, the Waukesha Freeman is reporting.

The property also includes the St. Vincent's De Paul thrift store.

The town's zoning code prevents Dunkin' Donuts from building a drive through window and the business' fight to change the zoning code fell through in July. However, the property has a better chance at getting a drive-through window because the City of Waukesha has different zoning codes that allow drive-through restaurants.
