Divino Gelato Café Owners Excited to Open in Brookfield Square Mall

Waukesha businessowners opening fifth gelato restaurant at Brookfield Square Mall in May.

The owners of Divino Gelato Café, Lori and Joe Lester, are looking forward to opening their fifth café this May.

Divino Gelato Café already has operations in Waukesha and Racine – as well as Florida – and it will soon expand to a kiosk at Brookfield Square Mall near the food court.

“I have had my eyes open at Brookfield Square for a number of years now,” Lori Lester said. “Gelato is a great product for walking. We need the walk by traffic.”

While Divino Gelato Café is a popular destination in downtown Waukesha, Lester feels Brookfield Square is the perfect location to attract customers in the winter or on rainy days. It will also help expand their presence in the metro Milwaukee area.

“Brookfield Square is a very popular mall for people when it is raining or snow,” said Lester, who has owned Divino Gelato Café for six of the 10 years it has been in business. “The exposure for us is fantastic. We are hoping that is going to be convenient for a lot of our customers.”
